Servextex ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Postiz platform available at https://pos.servextex.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding the data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected. This Privacy Policy details our practices regarding user information and third-party platform integrations, particularly TikTok.

2. Data We Collect from Users and Social Accounts

When you use Postiz or connect your TikTok account via official OAuth 2.0 (Login Kit), we collect only the minimum required information to provide the scheduling service:

• Account Details: Email address, name, and encrypted password for Postiz login.
• TikTok Profile Information (via Login Kit): User ID (open_id), display name, avatar URL, verification status, and follower statistics (user.info.basic, user.info.profile, user.info.stats).
• TikTok Content Data: List of published videos (video.list) to display analytics and performance metrics.
• OAuth Access & Refresh Tokens: Encrypted tokens used strictly to transmit your authorized posts to TikTok on your behalf.
• Uploaded Media: Video and image files you upload to Postiz for scheduling and publishing.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely for the following legitimate purposes:

• Authenticating your access to the Postiz dashboard;
• Displaying connected channel metadata and publishing status;
• Publishing scheduled videos and photo carousels to your TikTok account upon your explicit request (via Content Posting API);
• Checking TikTok creator limits, maximum allowed video duration, and supported privacy settings before upload.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or TikTok data to any third party or advertiser.

4. Data Storage, Encryption & Security

We employ industry-leading security practices to safeguard your data:

• All web communications are secured with TLS 1.3 encryption (HTTPS);
• OAuth tokens and sensitive secrets are encrypted at rest using AES-256;
• Media uploaded for publishing is stored temporarily in isolated, secure storage and purged according to retention schedules;
• We never store TikTok passwords — all authorization is handled directly through TikTok official OAuth consent screens.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Requests

We retain your account data and connected tokens only as long as your Postiz account remains active.

How to revoke access and delete your data:

• You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from Postiz Settings > Integrations, which immediately invalidates and deletes the stored tokens.
• You can revoke Postiz authorization directly within the TikTok mobile application under Settings > Security > Manage App Permissions.
• To request complete deletion of your Postiz account and all associated data, submit a request to privacy@servextex.com. Requests are processed within 48 hours.

6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, rectify, port, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@servextex.com.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or platform developer policies. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or dashboard notice.
